A Stroll in the Woodsby ~Scummy

Traditional Art / Mixed Media / People

So I did some more cut paper. This one is about an inch deep, so it's much more 3D than the other ones I have put together. It's little bit inspired by the Wizard of Oz, as you can probably tell.
Paint, cut paper, and a lot of illustration board used as support.

This is wonderful, so much craftsmanship! I can't get over the dimensional quality, it reminds me of a puppet theater or something of the sort. Works wonderfully for fairytale imagery. :]

very smart! i came across a children's book with paper cuttings done for the illustrations. not as well done as yours. i like the dimensional depth this creates.
