I've been meaning to submit this for a while but I haven't been able to put together a decent selection of photos. Since it's still being held captive at school I'm submitting it anyway! Animal form design project, cut paper. It has spunky spots and a mouth on the bottom of it. Wish I had a shot. Thanks to Florence for the bottom photos.

UPDATE - I was reunited with this piece a little while back and got a couple of new photos to display. The bottom view doesn't really do it justice. It looks like it's lost many suction cups since I've last seen it but anyway...

Daily DeviationI could have come up with a long, contrived and verbose rationale for selecting Octapus by ~Scummy (and I suppose technically as of now I still am), but the reason really is - who can say no to a cephalopod? I mean really. Especially one this cool. (Suggested by ~digangi and Featured by `zeruch)

Awesome, great job with the detailing and construction, it looks great! That would make a really cool lamp for sure :D

I did! Then I gace him back! Our president is trying to mess with my program so the instructors took in a whole bunch of projects to show him that our program is awesome as it is and it doesn't need changing. They want to take away some of our studio time and replace it with study time. Which reminds me, have you /SEEN/ the new ACAD logo?! Hell it's ugly.

Him and armadillo will be friends forever.

Wow this is PAPER??? Ahhhh...amazing. :D :D It would be awesome, if you made it into a lamp, if the light could change colors, like a real octopus...only...more colorful. :D :D Heeee!!

Maybe I only think that because I'm a dork. And when I was in fifth grade I wanted a disco ball in my room.

Anyway. This is an amazing sculpture. Awesome job.
