I get sleep paralysis a lot so I did a piece on it for the nightmares show for the UPPERCASE gallery. I even had four bouts of it one night after I had researched the project. I always feel like I'm suffocating, like I'm on the brink of death. It's a scary sensation.

In other news, the textures in this are looooovely and I am in love with this color scheme! You used a lot of vivid colors, yet there is still a very dark feeling. So it's awesome.

I think you should spend s'more time on the background. It jus doesn't hold the same amount of love that you do for the foreground elements.
that, or jus lower the opacity or get rid of it. you might not really need it.
the two curved lines that form tangents with the wooden shelf are really distracting.
what if you kicked the left food to the left side?
you only recognize the shape now cuz of the color, love the other foot.
cool piece. the thumb really grabs me, and the piece in full view is fun to look at. the use of line is really successful!
Oh and awesome illustration. Especially the color scheme is very suitable for the theme.
